I've compiled a list of question for you to ask yourself and your family. Still interested, keep reading.
Do you or anyone in your household have pet allergies? Be aware Vizslas do shed, short, little red hairs, so I hope your favorite color of clothing is not black.
Does everyone in your family want a puppy? Vizsla puppies are adorably cute but they are little vizslaraptors and can be trying sometimes.
Do you have a fenced-in yard or enough space for a puppy to adequately run and play?
Will you have time for a new puppy? This is a very important question. A puppy needs mid-day breaks and playtime as well as 3 meals a day (for the first 4 months)
Do you have the finances to cover a puppy's expenses? This is also a very important question. A puppy comes with many financial needs. Puppy shots, annual vaccinations, monthly heart-worm medication, crate, bedding, toys, food, grooming products, boarding, etc.
Are you committed to taking care of your puppy for it's lifetime? They may not live as long as us humans but they can live up to 14+ years.
Have you done your research on the breed? This breed is built for long days in the field.. Vizslas exercise needs are a daily commitment . They are high energy and need more than average physical and mental stimulation.

OUR PROCESS
We've done all of the above and we've all determined your a perfect match. We typically have 2 litters a year. In order to get your name on the list we require a $500 deposit. You will be the first to be notified of a confirmed pregnancy. Once puppies are born and by chance we are unable to meet your needs you have the option to move your deposit over to our next litter or get a deposit refund. Once we have determined that we have a pup for you, deposits are non-refundable and that amount will be applied toward the price of the pup. At 6-7weeks of age, you will be invited out in order of your received deposit to select your pup. Note: This is a process that we are very much involved in as we want to make sure your pup is the best fit for your family dynamics. Our pups are extensively socialized both inside/outside,(new people, children) , cared for with the highest standards as there first 8 weeks of life they live in our home. Because of this we are very selective on the homes our pups are placed in, At 8 weeks your pup will be scheduled for pick-up.
ABOUT A MAPLE SHORES PUPPY
All pups will have there tails docked and dews removed within the first 72 hours. They will be whelped in the comfort of our home and stay there until 4 weeks of age, then moved out to our attached heated garage (kept at 70 in the winter months). At that time they will be transitioned over to a high quality kibble (we choose Vicktor). At 7 weeks they will visit our favorite vet at Lifelong Veterinary Clinic to receive there first set of shots, dewormer, exam and microchipping. All pups come with a 1 year health guarantee and AKC LIMITED REGISTRATION. Further discussion will be needed if you wish to have AKC FULL REGISTRATION.
